When I brought a kitten and an adult cat home, my first hope was that they didn't kill each other.
I would have been pleased if they tolerated each other.
I'm delighted that they buddied up. Louie, the adult cat, grooms and plays with the kitty and provides a warm place to sleep.

Imagine how much more time your kitten would be spending on your shoulder if it were not for Louie! You'd never get anything done!
