Horse Whispers
Two fences and twelve feet separated the horses. But that didn't keep Lily nor the new horse from sizing each other up.
I didn't see any evil eyes, flattened ears, kicks or posturing. I heard no squeals.
But, somehow, they determined the new horse was the dominant mare. That settled, my Lily went back to grazing.
