Built for Cold
In the pre-dawn hours, the air was still and the stars were visible.
It seemed a perfect day to let the practice sheep and horses out to pasture.
The sheep didn't complain as they trotted to the pasture that still has quite a bit of grass.
When I returned home in the afternoon, the snow was blowing sideways, and the sheep were waiting at the gate. They wanted to return to the barn now.
The Haflingers, though, were standing, snow-covered in the pasture. While they could have returned to the barn, they didn't.
The snow and wind does't seem to bother these hairy beasts.
